Galloping into view on the back of the hit "One Bad Apple," itself sliced so firmly in the shape of a Jackson 5 45 that it was easy to see the market that the Osmonds hankered for, the brothers' eponymous debut LP nevertheless finds them still putting performance ahead of personality, and barely hinting at the heights they would soon be scaling (Donny Osmond's "Sweet and Innocent" showcase.

This is a good collection 2 set vinyl. The LP's cover very good songs like puppy love, Down by the Lazy river, Too Young, The twelfth of never. I am not a die-hard fan of Osmonds but these are the best songs of Osmonds I know. My dad had this collection and I played it well during my childhood days/5(5).

It is a good "live in concert" album, recorded at the height of the Osmonds popularity in the mid's ( to be exact). The various medleys were good, I would not be too surprised if the Donny and Marie medley was the soundboard for the "Donny and Marie" tv series, that were to come/5(50).

When the Osmonds started out, they were a carbon copy of the Jackson Five, right down to Donny's (frankly pretty good) Michael Jackson-esque squeal. What made so many of the early singles like "One Bad Apple," "Double-Lovin'" and "Yo-Yo" so good was that .
