With Newman I sounded good by myself except for the A pedal F lever major chord where that G# string was such a clam that I couldn't even use that position. It’s seems laughable to tune in.5 Hz’s when realistically if the whole band is within Hz of one another .

Aug 04,  · Lucero – Overton Park Lucero is perfectly alt-country—half rock bombast, half country swagger. The Memphis band is a touring machine, amassing devoted fans .

"Northern Steel II "Another Bob Taillefer production, this is the followup to the ever-popular Northern Steel CD. 20 tracks by Canada's best steel guitarists. The steel guitar brands used are listed in the credits, for those of us who enjoy trying to differentiate between the tones.

Aug 28,  · Dwight Yoakam's album from - "Tomorrow's Sounds Today" has some wonderful steel from Gary Morse on it. "What Do You Know About Love" is a great song. (look for that one on YouTube; i'd post it but i'm at work) If you like old-fashioned honky-tonk music, this is a 5 star album. His best album since "Buenos Noches From A Lonely Room".

This record is among his first. Like most his records, the songs are charming and to the point. It also features Homer and Jethro in the rhythm section and Jerry Byrd on steel guitar. What an all-star cast! [This album is not available, but Guitar Legend: The RCA Years and The Essential Chet Atkins: The Columbia Years are -ed.].
